The journey at Hot Screen began with a summer job 13 years ago, when Oskar was tasked with repainting our old property. The next step was a job in our production. Over the years, he has managed most things in the department, all while Hot Screen has grown and changed.

– When I started my career here, there were 16 of us in total. Now we are more than 20 people just in the printing department alone, and in the whole house there is a wonderful team of over 80 people, says Oskar.

A product to be proud of

Oskar is 32 years old and has worked at Hot Screen his entire professional life. In April 2022, he became our new printing manager, something that suits a ”stubborn team player who likes order”, as he describes himself. We see and appreciate his drive, just as he appreciates the speed and variety of his job.

– It’s high and low: everything from sitting in a meeting and planning the business to cleaning, says Oskar. Daily joint management of production with the rest of the team, recruitment, training and ensuring efficient production and a product to be proud of.

What is the most fun about your job?

– That I am still challenged and developed at the same pace as the company grows.

The value of well-being employees

The best thing about Hot Screen, according to Oskar, is getting to work at a company that is a leader in its industry. That drives development and environmental thinking forward, which is great as the screen industry can otherwise be dirty and unhealthy. He also thinks that the company sees the value in having well-being employees.

– We have great benefits, an open-minded atmosphere and a chance to make an impact. We also have many wonderful colleagues, which makes coming to work fun, he says.

What do you do when you’re not working?

– Then it’s family time and training on the schedule. I have a wife and a daughter that is 2 years old, also a Portuguese water dog. When I have time, I hang with my friends and eat something good at a restaurant.
